History of Cesenatico City
History of Cesenatico: is about 18 thousand years ago the territory adjoining the existing town of Cesenatico was presented as a huge lagoon where wetlands fresh water alternate with brackish areas, the first human discoveries date back to about 3000 BC, while traces increased finds of human from the fifth century before Christ. During the XVII century, for better preservation of the fish “conserve” built, visitor can watch even today in the square in the same name. Some events held one is during the first weekend of March; another is during the first weekend of November regarding the city’s fishing traditions. These events are very enjoyable events for tourist of Cesenatico.
